KAAN SABANCI


Born in March 2003 in London, Kaan Sabancı received his preschool education at Papatya International School. He then enrolled at VKV Koç Primary School where he studied until the ninth grade, which he completed at London Marlborough College as part of an exchange program. He is currently studying at VKV Koç High School.


Since the earliest days of his education, music and poetry have been top priorities for Kaan Sabancı, who was trained in singing, piano and guitar. He won several accolades in international competitions, one of which is the Third Place he earned in 2017 Val Tidone in Italy. Sabancı has penned many poems since his younger ages, and his first poetry book, Allegorical Poems (Alegorik Şiirler), was published while he was a student in London.


His second book of poems, published the following year, is Maybe I Would’ve Returned (Belki de Dönecektim).
